PLASTIC DISEASE is Tamara Jenney Over the past few years she has DJ'd both Nationally & Internationally.
She began DJing in November 2005, playing around with a computer program Traktor. After being offered a small guest spot at a local club night her passion for DJing was ignited. She began working on mashups along with her hardware DJ skills, and not too long after was offered a guest spot at the most popular industrial night in Tucson Asylum Saturday Nights.
It was still the beginning of 2006, and she was gaining more recognition quickly with her mashup experiments and general DJ skills. Before the summer began she was offered a spot doing live remixes/mashups and manipulation at SADISCO* in Phoenix AZ opening for C/A/T, soon after that she acquired her first resident spot at Asylum Nightclub in Tucson where she continued to push her DJ skills on a weekly basis. The rest of 06' She DJ'd at various shows, Fetish Heat(Tucson's largest Fetish Ball Event put on by Horns & Halos), and Tijuana Mexico.
2007 (to now) she has had some very notable DJ gigs which include: NOCTURNA CLUB in Barcelona Spain, Das Bunker in Los Angeles(Twice), events in Tijuana for Hardtrakks, SADISCO*'s, VECTOR Las Vegas, The Beauty Bas Las Vegas, TekTonic, noize[over]arizona, Electronically Sound Sundays, The Attik Las Vegas, Many Horns and Halos Fetish Ball's (Tucson & Phoenix- The Largest Fetish Events put on in AZ!) along with many more! In 2007 she also began producing her own original tracks which she played out at DJ gigs.
2008 has brought many great things so far: such as being picked up by Missionary Music Management which does tour booking for such artists as Das Ich, Accessory, Nachtmahr, Melotron, SAM, Engelmacher, Spetsnaz, Alter Der Ruine, Dust Is Noise and many more. June 2008 she signed with VENDETTA Music to release a fully mixed DJ CD featuring many Vendetta Artists and much more(Release date TBA). As soon as the release date is secured a full US tour will be planned.
Tamara has also recently expanded the Plastic Disease name to putting on shows and events. So expect to see more Arizona events put on by her in the future! PLASTIC DISEASE also works with FALLEN ANGEL Entertainment locally which puts on events, does DJ booking, and lots of promotion of the Tucson Electronic Dance Scene (Raves, Club events and more). FALLEN ANGEL ENT. plans on going National in the near future.

She also DJ'd live on DIGITAL EMPIRE 91.3 KXCI (June 08')
Past Residencies: Two MUTINY Residencies(Asylum & The Surly Wench), Asylum Saturday Nights, and REAKTOR at Asylum. (The Asylum closed early 08', it will always be missed) Currently Resident spot: MUTINY every Thursday night at ICE. While she does highlight playing more aggressive music, she is diverse and also plays EBM, Synthpop and Electro in her sets. PD's main goal in DJing is to expose the music she loves to as many people as possible, and provide memorable fun club experiences. Screw drama and egos, dance!
